Berkeley, Calif./Business Wire/ August 15, 2008; Legendary tattoo and piercing establishment, Zebra on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, CA is expanding its operations with a second location on 1419 Broadway in Walnut Creek, California set to open in late August 08.

Zebra opened twenty years ago in the Bay Area and quickly became known for its highly skilled artists, its strict adherence to sterilization guidelines and use of non-allergenic dyes.

Zebra's stores offer tattoo and body piercing, many types of body jewelry and leather goods. We are currently performing thousands of piercing and tattoos annually at our Berkeley location and can customize tattoos from any design provided states co-owner Mr. Sadeghi.

The stylish parlor on 1419 Broadway will feature autoclaved steam sterilization, individually bagged and sterilized tools, new needles for every customer, electric dental chairs, and over 10,000 tattoo designs to choose from top talented tattoo artists.

Delfani's first store, called Broadway Rocks, opened its doors in San Franciscos North Beach district back in 1983. The then nascent MTV Networks used his location as a backdrop to broadcasts several segments and soon after Mr. Delfani had rock bands and fans paying homage to his stores. Delfani was even providing costumes and accessories at one point to bands like Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Poison, and Night Ranger for their rock tours.

As the only tattoo shop in California certifying its jewelry contains no harmful metals, the Department of Toxic Substances Control recently based a statewide media event at Zebra to make the public aware of the new California law banning lead in body piercing jewelry sold in the State.
