| Make sure you have a nice set of pliers for bending in the correct location. Be sure they are extremely clean so as to not contaminate your jewelry. |

| When selecting the location for the bend, keep in mind that every nose is different. Yours may not need bending in the same location. The bend is determined by the thickness of the pierced location. Once you have determined the location, place the pliers just above where you would like the bend. |

| With one continuous movement, push the tail of the jewelry down (or up, or over) until it has reached 90 degrees. |
