Walnut Creek: Tuesday 11:30-7:00
Jennifer started her life as an Air-Force brat,
traveling the country with her parents. Usually
via long car ride, since her parents were set on
ensuring she saw as many wonders as this
country had to offer. By the age of eleven she
could boast that she had been to all but three states. Now, fourteen years later she as forty-eight states under her belt. Her family eventually decided to settle down in Arizona, where she completed and graduated high school. The self-proclaimed science nerd started her college career as a biology major, but quickly realized she loved it, but had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. So she packed up and moved to the Bay Area, for a change of scenery. And, that is definitely what she got.
Her first job in the Bay Area was developing film for a photo lab. The job itself was fun; it played on her tendency to be a bit of a perfectionist. Eventually though, she realized she needed a job that allowed her to be an individual, with all her weird quirks. After a little searching, she ended up at Zebra, where she quickly realized that she had found employment at a truly unique establishment. Having never worked anywhere where the feeling of family, no matter how dysfunctional, was so clearly present; she knew she would be here for a while.
After many years of working at the counter, helping people with their piercing requests and questions, she knew that it was time for her to put her brain to work learning something new. Shortly after she was offered an apprenticeship with the piercers so that she could help out when they got busy. She trained under Tim, Kerry, and Chris: to whom she is eternally grateful. She continued piercing in that capacity for some time until the Walnut Creek location was opened. At which time she was offered her own days. So come out and see her.
