FAQ | jewelry

Can i bring my own jewelry to get pierced?

There are no guarantees we will be able to use jewelry for a piercing if it was not purchased from us.

Our recommendation would be to bring in your own jewelry so we can inspect it; it must be the correct gauge, length, style and material. We only pierce with hypoallergenic metals: 14k solid gold, implant grade titanium, and surgical steel.

Do you return or exchange jewelry?

No, we do not return or exchange jewelry once it is opened or used. We will except returns/ exchanges if the jewelry purchased is still in the sealed bag it was sold in.

If you purchased jewelry online please see our ONLINE RETURN POLICY.

Why is my threadless jewelry bent?

The pin of the tops will have a slight bend in them to hold the jewelry together using tension.

If the pin was not bent, the top would slip out of the bar.

How do i put in my threadless jewelry?

To put in a threadless piece, you would insert the bar from the back and insert the pin on the top into the bar. Then you would push them together and make sure they are secure.

If you are having difficulty putting the bar in from the back, you can guide it through with a taper or another earing.

Why do i need to downsize?

When you are initially get a piercing, you will have a longer bar to accommodate for swelling. Once the swelling has gone down, usually about 4-6 weeks out, you will need a downsize. Shortening your jewelry will help with healing because the jewelry wont move back and forth as it would with a longer bar. Excessive movement on a fresh piercing can cause irritation, resulting in a bump to form.
